Default Engine swap - alternator not charging

I have the 140-150 amp Delco CS-130 alternator that I bought from DMC around a year ago. I recently dropped in a stage II crate motor with the new style wiring harness. The alternator worked fine before the swap with the old wiring configuration, though my voltage would read about 16V when idling. Now I'm not getting any charge at all.

My current configuration of the wires:

-One brown/yellow for the battery light (this part works)
-One quad-brown jumper from alternator to starter
-One quad-brown jumper from the jump-start terminal to the post inside the ignition coil box
-battery positive to starter
-jump-start terminal to starter

so in total, I only have one wire(bundle) from the alternator battery post and one wire(battery light) from the plug. Is this right? I hope to have pictures later.

Replace the lamp in the binacle for the alternator/battery.

Sometimes an alternator will work even if its burned out, then after a minor and unrelated change it may not. Even though you are sure the bulb is good, because it was before, it may not be now. unless you have seen the lamp lit, it may be burned out. if thats not it make sure the sense wire at the alternator is making a good connection.

Finally worked up the courage to go out and match the alternator, and found a Saturn CS130 at 96 amps. With a little rigging, I got it in and now it works. So thankfully my wiring was correct. I'm not really sure how my fairly new alternator got fried...

Funny thing. With the new alternator (the 96 amp retrofitted replacement), I now get a more satisfying reading on the volt meter. It's a steady 13V rather than 16V from the DMCH one I had. But I guess it could be the new wiring.
