It's only used on the automatics. At this point it's 25-year-old somewhat fiddly electronic parts, and many have been rebuilt a time or two already. Electronic parts are much more robust now, and circuit boards are better material. Also we can now use digital microcontrollers rather than analog ICs and a bunch of discrete parts.

Pilot run of 20 units and field use has been completed! Production units are now in stock and available.
